Descripción del puesto: We are looking for a Technology and Architecture Manager to lead the digital transformation of a major medical supplies client in Argentina. Your role will be to define and execute the technological strategy, ensuring that the architecture of systems and applications is robust, scalable, and aligned with the business objectives. You will lead a technical team and collaborate with various business areas to implement innovative solutions that optimize operations and improve the patient experience. responsibilities: Define and maintain the enterprise architecture, including standards, models, and technological principles. Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies and platforms. Manage the full life cycle of technology projects, from conception to deployment and maintenance. Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. Supervise and mentor the development and infrastructure team, promoting best practices. Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of all technological systems. what to expect: You will work closely with the client's CIO, business unit managers, and project leaders. Your day-to-day will involve a mix of strategic planning meetings, architecture design sessions, and team management. You will have the autonomy to propose and test new technologies that can generate a significant impact on the business. Expect a dynamic environment where you will need to adapt quickly to changes and solve complex technical problems. key challenges: Managing the complexity of integrating legacy systems with modern cloud technologies. Navigating the specific regulations of the health sector (e.g., data privacy and security). Balancing the need for innovation with budget and resource constraints. Leading the cultural change towards an agile and DevOps-oriented mindset in a traditional organization. expected outcomes: Develop and get approval for the technology and architecture roadmap for the next 18-24 months. Successfully migrate at least two critical systems to a new cloud architecture within the first year. Reduce system integration costs by 20% through the implementation of a unified API platform. Improve system uptime to 99.9% for critical applications.
